Are you ready for the next step in your career as a German teacher? After completing our part-time Teacher Education in German Master programme, you will be qualified to teach German to students in higher level secondary education and students in adult education and higher professional education. Moreover, you will have acquired a critical approach to education and its developing future.

This master programme prepares you to teach German language and literature to the higher classes of Dutch higher secondary and tertiary education (HAVO, VWO and HBO in Dutch). Instead of spending a great deal of time in-class, you will be spending most of your time teaching teens and young adults at the school where you work. The combination of one day a week at HU, and the rest of the week actually teaching is ideal.
